Finances
ECE will have the following sources of income:
- Membership fee
- Grants
- Donations
Convenings
Members, alternate members, their assistants and invited guests will convene their meetings in September, February and June every year. The convenings will be recorded, edited and transmitted to the public and will also be stored online for free dissemination to the public.
Officers
- ECE will appoint trustees according to Ethiopian law for non-profits
- ECE will appoint its officers
- ECE will have a director, an assistant, and a treasurer
- It will also appoint a president from the rank of the ex-leaders
- The director and trustees shall serve for a duration of five years
Offices
ECE will have its secretariat in Addis Ababa or in a remote location (preferably a guest house in the Omo Valley). The Government of Ethiopia will provide and furnish a building for the secretariat and guest house – fit for purpose including a transport facility to serve ECE members when they convene and for their guests. The secretariat and guest house will be furnished with digital appliances to facilitate communication
